Today, our project research team is visiting selected communities in Lower Baddibu District. We will be shooting a drama on early marriage and teenage pregnancy and conducting interviews with community members to document the implementation and achievements of our project in addressing early marriage and adolescent pregnancy in the rural Gambia.
As part of the documentation of our project implementation and achievements, a mid-term evaluation will also be conducted from March 8 to April 30, 2022. The objective of the mid-term evaluation will be to assess the effect of the implementation of our project package of interventions in changing knowledge of and attitudes towards early marriage and prevention of teenage pregnancy by comparing data collected before the start of the project (that is, at baseline) and roughly after three years of implementation of the project package of interventions in rural communities in Lower and Central Baddibu Districts.
