Still Ongoing: Monitoring and Supervision of project activities. Today, we are in Lower Baddibu District (see, attached map), where we have implemented the following package of interventions.
(1) Community engagement forums and discussion sessions around gender and social norms surrounding early marriage
(2) Direct advocacy and training for communities and local leaders to enlist their support in ending early marriage
(3) Training of adolescent girls on their health knowledge, including sexual and reproductive health and rights, harmful effects of early marriage and legal age of marriage
(4) Training of adolescent girls on tie and dye and regular soap making to boost their livelihood skills and increase their economics and that of their families to offset the economic drivers of early marriage and teenage pregnancy.
